Case Study: Agricultural Business

Overview of client

The client in this case is an agricultural business. As part of their business, they required wash bays for their equipment in order to conform with trade waste agreements.

As a fast growing company in an ever changing industry, the client needs infrastructure that can meet evolving needs. The layout and the location of the business is liable to change, so portable infrastructure is key.

The problem

An agricultural business was setting up a new facility, and required a wash bay to clean their plant and equipment. The wash bay had to be portable, ready to be relocated in case of changing circumstances.

Additionally, it was necessary that the wash bay meet local water authority waste agreements.

Thankfully, Cleanawater was able to help on both counts, and provide a portable wash bay perfectly suited for the job.

Our team at Cleanawater started by talking with the client, obtaining the necessary specifications, and providing layout drawings to ensure a shared vision.

The ideal solution was a portable wash bay coupled with a coalescing plate oil-water separator. The portable wash bay was mobile, suiting the client's needs, and was also easy to install. For example, there was no need to cut holes for the installation of water collection pits.

With the addition of wash bay entry ramps, equipment could easily be rolled onto the wash bay for cleaning. With 1.9m high walls on the sides of the wash bay, the rest of the facility was able to remain dry and clean.

Benefits

  • A portable, future-proof wash bay
  • Affordable and promptly installed
  • Custom fitted to suit the situation
  • The business can meet environmental regulations
