The solution
What Cleanawater did
Cleanawater provided The Vortex group with a cost-effective relocatable portable wash bay.
The portable wash bay provided was our higher-rated 12 tonne-per-axel unit. Using two wash bay decks, the total wash bay size was 6.5m wide by 4.8m deep, and suitable to handle the company's largest pump set.
A set of drive on ramps was provided to the entry and exit, so users could drive a forklift load of equipment easily onto the wash bay.
To avoid water being splashed onto the surrounding warehouse floor, 1.9m high walls were included to the 3 sides of the portable wash bay.
We added a compliant Cleanawater oil water separator to process the wastewater coming from the wash bay. From there, the water gets pumped to sewer via a Cleanawater pump station.
The CleanaWater installation team carried out the project from start to finish. First, we obtained pre-approval from the City West Water trade waste. Then we commissioned and obtained sign off from the client and the water authority.
Vortex Group provided Cleanawater with the trust to enable us to do our very best work, and deliver the system on time, and on budget — to our high-quality standards.
