Odour Misting Systems
Effective airborne odour treatment using a misting system
Cleanawater's misting systems effectively neutralise odours at the source - ideal where the source is diffuse. Essential oils and organic plant compounds convert odour molecules into non-volatile compounds - eradicating the chemical cause of odours.

How it works
Our misting systems use a reactant made from essential oils and surfactants (a substance designed to allow molecular binding by lowering the surface tension of the water). Airborne droplets attract and neutralise the odour particles, through an active chemical process.
Benefits to clients
Cleanawater's misting systems help you comply with environmental regulations - avoiding fines, shut downs and complaints. The systems can be automated, with minimal input from an operator - keeping running costs low. Maintenance time and cost is also curtailed, with our products made to be highly corrosion resistant. The active substances used in our systems are all made from natural organic compounds, making them environmentally friendly, non-toxic and safe for human exposure.

Functional description
Active ingredients used in our misting systems eradicate airborne and surface odours. Made from organic compounds and oils, they are equally effective for use indoors and outdoors. Unlike other commonly-used masking agents, our product disperses an atomised mist that attracts and chemically neutralises odours - rather than simply covering them up.
Construction
Misting systems consist of a pump with electronic controls, dilution unit, nylon tubing and a set of stainless steel nozzles. The pump is either a standalone unit or bolted to a wall. The fully automated system pump has electronic controls with timer settings to adjust dosage according to factors such as odour strength, wind direction and hourly fluctuations in odour levels.
Connecting a potable water supply to the automatic dilution system facilitates dilution of the reactant. It is then pumped through nylon tubing, atomised and misted into the air through plastic nozzles. The system requires a single-phase 10 amp electricity supply.
Misting formulation
All active substances used in the misting systems are made from natural organic compounds and essential oils and are completely non-toxic.
Optional accessories
Optional accessories to further customise your misting system include 24-hour timers, an adjustable dilution unit, and a weather station to activate the system only when the wind is blowing in a particular direction. Our misting station can be supplied in a variety of sizes depending on requirements; 20L, 200L or 1000L containers. We can also complete the plumbing so that your unit uses a potable water supply.
